The McGurk's Bar Massacre
Fáilte romhat, a chara, welcome, to a family site dedicated to the memory of the innocent victims of McGurk's Bar Massacre, 4th December 1971.
For two generations our families have fought for nothing but the truth.
Ours has been a peaceful struggle of Sisyphean proportions against government collusion with loyalist terrorists, media misinformation and cover-up by the police.
This site will expose the facts and circumstances surrounding the massacre of innocent Irish men, women and children in McGurk's Bar.
This site will follow and publicize the ongoing campaign of the victims' families as we fight for the truth.
This site will stand as testament to the present British government that another generation of Irish men and women have sprung up to continue our families' campaign for truth.
Our sons and daughters will follow us.

A half shop sign
On the rubble,
Half a name
And a half-hundredweight
Of spent gelignite
Bearing no claim.
Half-bricks smothered
Pinned bodies burning
In a buried, gas flame.
Half an inquiry;
Half-truths contemptuous,
In dispatches came.
Half price justice
From a flea-market press,
Embezzling the blame
For Queen and half-crown
And a half-hearted check
To keep the dead in the frame.
